Air Cadet (Zephram) Tino, age 12, is congratulated by longtime Air Cadet volunteer Mrs. Doern after winning an effective public speaking competition with 204 Black Maria Squadron in Kamloops on Jan. 9. Topic of his speech was Canada's stewardship of its water resources. He will compete in the next level of competition on Feb. 5 in Summerland.
