The Clearwater Voices United Community Choir brought an amazing performance of the Cantata “Night of the Father’s Love: The Awe and Mystery of God with Us” to the public at Barriere Senior’s Hall on Dec. 10. The choir also performed on Dec. 17 at Clearwater Community Baptist Church.
A cantata is a story set to music; and this cantata told the Christmas story with music and narration.
Every seat was taken in the hall, and admission was by donation,with the monies raised to be donated to the North Thompson Valley Hospice House Society.
When the final note had been sung, the audience rose to their feet and gave one of the longest standing ovations this community has been witness to.
