NTAC to hold community show in Clearwater

‘Making Our Mark’ is open to all local artists and craftspeople

The North Thompson Arts Council announced it will host an Open Community Art Show in Clearwater.

Titled “Making Our Mark,” the art show is open to all local artists and craftspeople of all backgrounds, skill levels and ages. Finished submissions will be put on display in the lobby of the Clearwater Lodge from May 23 to June 25. Official opening of the exhibition is May 22. Public viewing hours will be from noon to 4 p.m. daily.

“The goal of this exhibition is to celebrate and showcase local artists of all ages working in any discipline or genre,” a statement from NTAC reads.

Artists and craftspeople who would like to submit their work are required to fill out an application with a 75 to 100-word biography by May 1. Completed artwork must be ready to be hung or displayed and delivered on May 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Be sure to clearly label the back of your artwork with your name and its title. There is no fee for art submissions.
