The North Thompson Aboriginal Cultural Centre hosted a grand reopening on Saturday, May 1 in Clearwater that was a huge success and fun for all those attending.
Fiddle music by Exton Harding of Barriere, bannock, hot dogs and beverages were served to guests lined up along the old highway.
The North Thompson Aboriginal Cultural Centre Society members were on hand to provide information about the centre and the beautifully designed gift shop will be open throughout the summer to welcome locals and tourists alike.
On Thursday, May 16, the North Thompson Aboriginal Cultural Centre Society will be hosting the seventh annual Clearwater Moose Hide Campaign at the Royal Canadian Legion #259 in Clearwater.
Everyone is welcome to this event which starts at 4 p.m. with displays, information tables, videos and light refreshments along with door prizes.
Dinner for the event will follow catered by Gateway Grill and by donation. Seating is limited for the dinner and you must register by May 13. To reserve the dinner, donate or for more information please call:
