The day started out with a few friends, including one who had never been to Moul Falls in Wells Gray Park.

Yes, you guessed it, the group included our local adventurer, Chance Breckenridge! He and a few friends set out with no snowshoes. Amazing! It was on March 20, 2018.

After all it is supposed to be nearly spring right? There were a few dark clouds around so it was not as spectacular as some hikes but, the fun camaraderie made up for it.

After arriving at Moul Falls they did a bit of exploring around and then headed on downstream. They decided to check out an ice cone and cave nearby.

They had of course brought the trusty crampons that help for this part of the adventure. When it is that slippery your footing is so much more secure when you have the crampons attached to your boots our adventurer said.

A fun shot was taken that almost looks like the birth of a true Canadian. Climbing up out of a snow drift! Haha!

Looking out over the cone from the inside was also quite a sight to behold! There are really no words to accurately describe the scenery and thrill of the ice, the rushing roar of the falls and all encompassing wilderness that the experience brought to them all.

The pictures only capture a tiny bit of the feeling! Naturally, Chance will keep at it and hopes to share more adventures with us all soon.
