Clearwater Youth Week committee members celebrate as they receive a $1,458 cheque from United Way (made out to project leader Katie Bieber).

The presentation by United Way, with partners Interior Savings and Telus, was made March 2 in the Kamloops Art Gallery.

It was one of 11 totalling $12,500 given to youth groups in the region. Recipients were aged seven to 25 and represented Kamloops, Williams Lake, Merritt, Cache Creek, Logan Lake and Pinantan Lake as well as Clearwater.
