Johnson recalls many events she had taken part in over the years at the hall. At one time children were put to bed in bunk beds in the back while parents enjoyed dancing.
She said her favorite dance was the heel and toe polka, which was the first dance she learned.
Wells Gray Country Seniors Society sponsored a bus to the festive event.
