After a year-long hiatus due to COVID-19, live music is coming back to the Dutch Lake Community Centre stage.

Wells Gray Lively Arts Society has lined up performers from around the Kamloops region and beyond for their summer stage, including blues band Sabrina Weeks and Mike Hilliard, The Wheat in the Barley, a Celtic group from Vancouver, and bluegrass/country band Rough Cut from Chase.

The performances begin Thursday, July 29, and will continue each week until the last concert on Aug. 26. There is no cost and organizers ask that you bring your chair or blanket and water. The events are family-friendly and COVID-19 protocols will be in place as per the provincial health requirements.

The lineup: Sabrina Weeks and Mike Hilliard on July 29; The Wheat in the Barley on Aug. 5; Rough Cut on Aug. 12; Doc and the Disorderlies on Aug. 19; and Suz and Johnny’s Blues Band on Aug. 26.
