Carly Gardner, a learn to fish instructor from Kamloops, gives some pointers to Ryan Green during a Free Family Fish Day held at Hallamore Lake on Saturday, June 14.
About 40 people took part and three fish were caught (the biggest about 12 inches). Support came from the Family Fishing Society, Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC, and Safety Mart.
The event at Alpine Meadows Resort was one of several across the province held as part of Family Fishing Weekend.
