Coordinator Laura Pickering, a Grade 3/2 teacher, reported that students had fun, mingled with other grades and staff, and improved their fitness and knowledge of heart-healthy activities.
Each student was asked to bring a loonie for the Heart and Stroke Foundation (similar to the Terry Fox run) and received a booklet about heart-healthy snacks and habits.
