Hikers excited about the new stairs when accessing Moul Falls in Wells Gray Park

The Moul Falls stairs were completed and opened to hikers on Friday, Oct. 6. Park officials say it is much easier to get down to the bottom of the falls, thanks to the hard work of Wells Gray Park trail staff and the generous donation to the B.C. Parks Foundation of $10,000 from Wells Gray Park supporters, Anne and Roland Neave. The Neaves designated this donation for this project in order to facilitate the improvements more quickly.

“Anne and I are really pleased to see the stairs completed having pushed for this to be done for the past four years. We are happy to have helped with our donation and this will make hiking in and out so much better for visitors,” said Roland Neave.

Moul Falls attracts up to 300 people a day in the summer when exploring Wells Gray Park and with the addition of this upper flight of stairs it is a huge improvement for visitors access and safety.
