Vavenby Hall came alive to sound of chirpy girls’ voices along with the sound of swishing skirts and tapping feet on Saturday, Jan. 20.

All age groups in the Clearwater Girl Guide movement were involved in this year’s Snowball: Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders, and of course, the Guiders who had organized this relaxed overnight occasion.

Sleeping bags were rolled out in the lower nook, music flowed from the Karaoke player, and delicious-looking munchies awaited hungry girls for Mug-up later.

The morning saw girls donning outdoor gear to go outside skating.

“We were very grateful to the hall for having an outdoor rink and a beautiful new playground,” said Guider Kris Olsen.
