It is nearly time for our summer music!
The Wells Gray Lively Arts Society’s Summer Stage begins on Thursday, July 7 at 7 p.m. in the Dutch Lake Community Centre field. Bring your own drink and chair, and come enjoy wonderful live music.
This year, our opening act is Jon Treichel and Daveton Jones, who, some of you will remember, gave us a great evening of soul, reggae and dance last July. I think all our toes were tapping that evening.
Entry is free, but members of the WGLAS will come around during the evening with donation jars. We are a non-profit society, so your donations help us maintain our equipment, pay for supplies at music events and help towards insurance.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our generous financial supporters, without whom we would not be able to host our live music events.
