People can come for self-guided tours after Apr. 20 but there will be no hay rides. The first tourists arrived on Apr. 1.

Good food at potluck

It was a beautiful day for the March potluck luncheon on March 30 at Vavenby Christian Church. The luncheons are usually held at the church on the last Wednesday of each month, 11 – 2. They are free and are a good time to get out and socialize.

There were 14 people present, fewer than usual, but still lots of good food. Someone always brings a soup. The decrease in numbers could have been due to the warm weather or the school's Spring Break.

The next potluck at Vavenby Christian Church will be held on Wednesday, Apr. 27. There will be no luncheons for the months of July, August, and September.
