Sydney Rose was born Jan. 16 to proud parents Mariclaire and Brandon Ruttan of Vavenby. She has a big sister, Brooklyn. Happy grandparents are Anita Primeau, Wilna Ruttan and Wayne Ruttan. Every year the Clearwater Hospital Auxiliary presents a quilt to the first baby girl and boy born in this part of the North Thompson Valley in the New Year.

“We are happy to announce that the first baby this year is a girl, Sydney Rose Ruttan,” said an Auxiliary spokesperson.

Sydney was born Jan. 16, 2018 to proud parents Mariclaire and Brandon Ruttan of Vavenby. She has a big sister, Brooklyn.
