District of Clearwater’s new silo

A Fink Machine crew installs a chip loader into the District of Clearwater’s new stone biomass chip silo on the south end of the building. Hanging from the crane is an auger chip loader. The previous silo couldn’t be repaired after it caught fire early in the morning on Nov. 28, 2020. The fire had begun to take the roof of the gym, but thanks to two full firefighting crews, the fire was contained and the damage to the gym was relatively superficial.
