VANCOUVER/CNW/ – Every year since 2003, the BC Achievement Foundation has asked British Columbians to nominate a person who either as a volunteer or in the course of their work has made a significant contribution that benefits their community.
That contribution can be in any field: sports and recreation, arts and culture, multiculturalism, the environment, civic duty or community volunteerism are just a few possibilities.
This year’s deadline for nominations is Nov. 15.
Nominating someone is easy. Obtain a nomination form online at www.bcachievement.com or by contacting the Foundation toll free 866.882.6088.
A ceremony to recognize the winners will be held in Victoria next spring
