At 5:54 a.m., police were called to a home in the 600-block of Birch Avenue after an altercation between two men at a party. Police say a 36-year-old man called police, saying he was kicked out of the house and had nowhere else to go. No one was hurt in the incident. After attending the scene, Const. Klassen drove the man back to the TMX camp. No charges were laid, due to conflicting stories.

Later that morning, a 49-year-old man called the Clearwater RCMP to report he had put his vehicle, a black 2014 Dodge Journey, into the ditch at around 2 a.m. off Highway 5 north of Blue River. There was also a 29-year-old female occupant. No injuries were noted and there was no damage to the vehicle.

Const. Klassen attended the scene to assist with traffic control for the towing company. The vehicle was removed from the ditch and both occupants continued on their travels.

Clearwater RCMP responded to 25 calls for service this past week.
