Clearwater Backyard bird count hopes to keep top spot

In mid-January local Great Backyard Bird Count organizers launched a new “doorway” to the GBBC for our participants from Canada. To find it, just go to www.birdcount.ca. It’s going to look pretty familiar to those who have visited the site before, but it also contains some new content specifically for our Canadian bird watchers, contributed by Bird Studies Canada.

The new portal has a Clearwater Challenge, which encourages other communities to bump Clearwater off the top in Canada for the number of checklists submitted (a position held by Clearwater for the last three years).
