Once again it is time for the Food Bank to get started on its Christmas Campaign.
Applications for Christmas Hampers are available at the Food Bank from Monday, Nov. 14 until Friday, Dec. 9. The Food Bank hours are Monday and Friday, 9 a.m. until noon. If there are any question or concerns please call us at 674-3402. If you leave a message we will get back to as quickly as possible.
Last year we had 107 applications and are anticipating approximately the same this year. Along with food the Christmas Hampers will also include gifts. All donations are welcome and sincerely appreciated although we must ask for new toys only and as usual teens are the hardest to provide for. Gift cards are great for this age.
If there are any groups that are planning fundraisers, or any groups or individuals that would like to sponsor a family, please let us know and we will do everything we can to help and also avoid duplications.
C-Me Live will be on Sunday, Dec. 11 at the Wells Gray Inn. There will be live music, raffle draw and more seating than ever before as the Silent Auction and Bake Sale will be in the old games room to the left of the concession/coffee bar. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Admission will be by donation or non-perishable food item.
Hamper assembly will take place at Raft River Gym on Friday, Dec. 16 with hamper pick-up on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
