It was a chocoholic’s dream – the second annual Chocolate Festival at Clearwater ski hill on Saturday, Feb. 11 – a room full of tables covered with desserts and treats, most of which were chocolate.

Participants purchased strips of tickets then got to go on a sampling spree. They put tickets into a container beside those items they hoped to win; the draws were made toward the end of the evening. Ticket numbers for unclaimed prizes are posted on the Clearwater Ski Hill’s website.

The funds raised from this event go to support the hill and pay for equipment like the new groomer. The club realized approximately $2,000 from the event. CSC director and event organizer Christine Wright would like to extend a gracious thank you to all of the sponsors for donating the prizes.
