The money is for Ruston's daughter, Brandy Elesko, who is suffering from leukaemia and needs a bone marrow transplant.

Mann gave $500 from the Pounders' recent slow pitch tournament, plus $200 from Clint McGill and the Stingers' winnings. The donation jar remains at Bayley's Bistro.
