On Monday, March 7, students from Blue River School drove to Kamloops for a three-day field trip.

Kevin White from Sandman Hotels, Inns and Suites had donated hotel rooms, Kamloops Blazer tickets, Denny’s coupons and a gift bag for the entire school.

While in Kamloops the students also had a tour of the B.C. Wildlife Park and the Kamloops Museum and Archives.

The students were also able to go to the movies and take a swimming lesson at the Tournament Capital Center.

On the final day all the students were able to play Laser tag and other games at the Fun Factor. This trip would not have been possible without the help of Kevin White and Ashleigh McClellan of the Kamloops Sandman, Arthur Loring from Fun Factor and all the great tour guides and instructors at the various activities.

Thank you also to the Blue River PAC for donating a wonderful school trip for our students.
