The Blue River Health Centre will be closed on Dec. 30 and 31 due to limited staffing availability, a press release from Interior Health states. Regular hours for the centre are Thursday from noon to 4 p.m.and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
When the health centre is closed, residents are reminded to:
– call 911 in the event of an emergency
– visit the emergency department at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater
– contact the Clearwater Medical Clinic for non-urgent matters
– Call 811 and speak to a registered nurse if you are unsure of what services are required.
“Interior Health apologizes for this temporary interruption to normal services,” the statement reads.
