Beware of hunters on forest roads

It is hunting season again, and that means increased traffic and activity on the busy forest roads

It is hunting season again, and that means increased traffic and activity on the busy forest roads. Hunters and other recreational users will be out in the woods driving ATVs and potentially shooting things, and no one wants to get hurt. If you encounter someone without a radio, let the other users in the area know so they can watch out for them.

A hazard alert received recently from Enform reported equipment being shot up, and reminds contractors to post “Active Work-Site” signs on roads, and to make sure workers are wearing hi-vis PPE (personal protective equipment).
