Banister donates to Vavenby Fire Department

A cheque worth $4,000 was given to the fire department during an open house

Two Banister employees presented chief of the Vavenby Volunteer Fire Department, Philip Weber, with a cheque for $4,000 on Saturday, April 30, during the department’s open house event. The funds are to go towards new equipment for the department, including a second rescue clutch and ropes and turbo flares to assist the air ambulance at night.
