Canfor employee wins $500 gift certificate from Wells Gray Home Hardware as part of United Way campaign

Wells Gray Home Hardware’s Lorne Selbee (l) and Jennifer Selbee present Canfor-Vavenby employee Dwayne Braaten with a $500 gift certificate for winning a competition held as part of the division’s United Way campaign this year.

Other prize sponsors included Sun Peaks Grand Hotel, Wells Gray Paragliding Adventure, Kamloops Blazers, Sandman Signature in Kamloops, Blue River Safari, and Hop n Hog in Clearwater.

As reported earlier in the Times, Canfor-Vavenby once again raised the most per capita for the United Way of any of the forest company’s divisions.
