We spoke to many loggers and service providers in the coastal industry, and they are facing the same challenges as the interior - namely, shortage of experienced workers, and gaps in the supply chain.

There’s not enough new equipment available to meet the demands to increase harvesting volumes, and the parts to re-fit old iron and put it into service for the interim are not available either. Stories of waiting two to six months for tires, rear ends, parts, and other components are commonplace.
