New owners of the historic Janie’s General Store in Blue River are Gerry and Jennifer Sutherland. A carpenter by trade, he lived in the community for several years a little over 20 years ago while this is her first time there. Other new owners are Kim Desjarlais and Jimmy-Sue Kharbanda. They took over the business in May. Former owners Glen and Willow MacDonald plan to continue living in Blue River.
