It was smokey and muggy again this week but we had 20 ladies out for golf on Aug. 17 and the special game was “the other holes.”
We had two new golfers (Lori and Wendy) and it was wonderful to see them out. Stay tuned next week for the best five-hole scores.
We had 15 ladies stay for dinner and it was necessary to have a cold one along with the great dinner.
The winners from the Aug. 10 (week 15) Ladies Night are:
Flight #1: Deanna Pendergast – low gross, long drive, long drive in 2; Madeline Klassen – low net; Carol Hindle – KP#5, long putt (70”).
Flight #2: Larissa Hadley – low gross, long drive, long putt (163”); Joan Streadwick – low net, long drive in 2; Abbey Bates – KP#5.
Flight #3: Rioko Whitney – low gross; Marie – long drive (she outdrove everyone, WOW!!); Hazel Wadlegger – long drive in 2 and Yevonne Cline – long putt (108.5”).
Winners of the special game “ONESS” were: Deanna for Flight #1, Larissa for Flight #2 and Carol McNeil for Flight #3.
Joan Slingsby had the least putts and Marie was the most honest putter. Carol and Abbey had terrible aim and lost their ball into the pond and were given replacements.
Madeline and Carol both had a great Chip In and had to share the pot. Carol also had a Birdie but didn’t have to share with anyone this time.
