PHOTOS: Midget House hosts tournament

Clearwater’s Midget House team hosted an eight-team tournament last weekend, Feb. 9 – 11. Two teams came from Williams Lake plus one each from Kelowna, Kamloops, Quesnel, Hope and 100 Mile House.

Clearwater’s Midget House team hosted an eight-team tournament last weekend, Feb. 9 – 11. Two teams came from Williams Lake plus one each from Kelowna, Kamloops, Quesnel, Hope and 100 Mile House.

“Teams from out of town commented on what a great community we have and were very impressed with the hotels, restaurants, and all the amenities we have in a small town,” said one of the organizers. “Teams and parents thoroughly enjoyed their time here at the tournament and went out of their way to say so.”

Tournament officials also received many compliments for their professionalism and for calling fair games throughout the weekend.

The final outcome of the tournament was: 1, Kelowna; 2, Williams Lake Highlanders; and 3, Hope.
