What a fantastic day for our last Ladies Golf Night of the 2017 season on Sept. 14. Beautiful clear skies and cool temperatures. We had our largest turnout with 21 ladies out for golf. We had 16 ladies stay for dinner.

The special game was “Casino” where the teams earned points for various activities (hitting trees, going to the beach, one putt, and so on). With the total team points each team picked the number of cards earned and built the best poker hand. Stay tuned next week for the winners of the skill holes and the poker hand.

Remember the club championship will be on Sept. 23. Please sign up your team or as an individual in the club house. Call Carol (674-8771) or Jane (587-6290) if you have any questions about the club championship.

The winners from the Sept. 7 (week 19) Ladies Night and special game “Fairways and greens” (F&G) were:

Flight #1: Deanna Pendergast – low gross; Tanya Dejarlais – low net, KP#5, long drive; Madeline Klassen – long putt and most points for F&G.

Flight #2: Marg Anderson – low gross, most points F&G; Korinne Isbister – low net; Joan Streadwick – long drive, long putt.

Flight #3: Marie Geisbrecht – low gross, long drive, long putt; Carol McNeil – most points for F&G.

Carol Hindle had the least putts and Judy Panko was the most honest putter. Madeline received a new ball for the one she put into the pond. The Chip In Pot was won by Deb Pearce. Deb and Tanya shared the Birdie Pot this week. Debbie Mayer and Rose Harley were the winners of the mystery scores.
