Gordon Gross
1929-2017
With deepest sadness we announce the passing of Gordon Gross of Clearwater, B.C. at the age of 88.
Gordon was born in Vancouver, B.C. May 5, 1929 and passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 20, 2017.
Gordon is survived by his sisters Gladys, Joyce (Murray); brother Larry (Betty); daughters Susan (Richard), Carrie (Rod); sons, Randy (Sherron), Raymond (Mary), and Carl and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gordon was predeceased by his wife Jean; son Ralph; daughter Karol; sister Margaret; brother Richard and sister Patricia.
Gordon worked 29 years with B.C. Rail before retirement 26 years ago. His hobbies included ham radio operator, sailing, model trains, he enjoyed building and flying model planes and cross stitch. Some of Gordon’s accomplishments include completing his education, travel, and faceting gemstones. Gordon volunteered for years in government campsites. He valued family above all.
A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date.
