The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) is now accepting applications from those persons interested in serving on the Wells Gray Country Services Committee, a committee of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District. Serving on a TNRD committee is one of the ways you can get involved and make a difference in your community. The TNRD Electoral Area “A” Director will appoint Committee Members chosen from expressions of interest received though a public process administered by TNRD staff.
WELLS GRAY COUNTRY SERVICE COMMITTEE
The purpose of the Wells Gray Country Services Committee is to provide recommendations to the TNRD and senior staff on the annual budget and long term plans for subject services in Electoral Area “A” (Wells Gray Country).
Member(s) needed:
- One (1) member representing East Blackpool who must reside or own property in the East Blackpool area of Electoral Area “A” (Wells Gray Country) for a 2 year term (expiring December 2024)
- One (1) member representing Blackpool who must reside or own property in the Blackpool area of Electoral Area “A” (Wells Gray Country) for a 2 year term (expiring December 2024)
- One (1) member representing Vavenby who must reside or own property in the Vavenby area of Electoral Area “A” (Wells Gray Country) for a 2 year term (expiring December 2024)
Persons interested in serving on the Wells Gray Country Services Committee are requested to forward a Committee Expression of Interest form, by 4:00 pm Friday, March 24, 2023.
