Main photo: People watch a slideshow of photographs on a new display screen in the Upper Clearwater Hall on Friday evening, March 10.

Left: The photos were taken during a tour by Fritz and Ursula Schaer of the Antarctic Peninsula in 2014. The hall has been the centre of some controversy over the past few years. About 20 people watched the show, including some who have been opposed to the hall’s management. The Schaers said they hope the slideshow will help heal some of the divisions in the community.
