New cenotaph needed Legion representative Calvin Lutz points to the degraded concrete at the base of the cenotaph in Reg Small Park in Clearwater. That plus plans to build a new pumphouse in the park means the community needs a new memorial, the Legion says. There will be a steak-and-lobster dinner on Sept. 30 to raise funds for a new memorial, he says. Look for more details in an ad in this week’s paper plus in upcoming issues of the Times.
