Fire at Allan Creek

Blaze between Blue River and Valemount believed to be human-caused

Smoke rises from a small fire next to Highway 5 near Allan Creek north of Blue River on Saturday, Aug. 12. About .5 hectare in size, the fire burned off area went along the roadway for about 100 m and into the bush for roughly 50 m. According to BC Wildfire Service, the fire was believed to be human-caused.
