Drilling of third well gets underway

Reg Small Park to be closed for about two weeks

Abbotsford residents Jared Yake (l) and Darren Mitchell start work drilling a new well in Reg Small Park on Thursday, July 27. The park is closed to the public for a two-week period for drilling and construction. This will be District of Clearwater’s third well. The first, relatively small, is also located in Reg Small Park. The second is located across from Dutch Lake beach. The district also draws water by a gravity system from a reservoir located behind the ski hill.
