Clearwater RCMP are asking for public assistance in finding the thieves responsible for a recent rash of break and enters.

Costly break and enter

On Wednesday, June 7, the Kinder Morgan yard in Blue River was broken into.

The suspects stole over $32,000 worth of items, including a John Deere UTV, two Stihl chainsaws, two Stihl ice augers, four logging chaps and a box of various tools.

Thieves take tires

Sometime during the evening of June 7 till the early morning of June 8 unknown suspects broke into the Clearwater Kal Tire and stole a large amount of tires.

Breach of conditional sentence order

On June 11, police were called to a disturbance where a male was screaming.

Police arrested the male, who was currently on numerous court-imposed conditions. The male was held in custody.

Break and enter to seasonal cabin

Sometime during the beginning of June someone broke into a seasonal cabin on Shannon Creek Forest Service Road near Avola and stole some items from the property.

Vehicles impounded for excessive speeding

On June 16, Clearwater Traffic Section impounded two vehicles for seven days for excessive speeding.

Both drivers had been traveling in excess of 45 km/hr over the posted speed limit.

Police keep busy

During the period June 4 – 18, Clearwater RCMP had 75 calls for police service.
