A popular event is marching back into Vernon.

The fourth annual Okanagan Military Tattoo will be at Kal Tire Place in Vernon on July 29 and 30.

“Marching Forward Together with our youth, veterans and military makes this one of the very best ways to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday,” said Norm Crerar, OMT director.

“The ensemble of pipers, drummers, military bands, marching troops, dancers and singers of all ages are brought together in an action packed choreographed event.”

Internationally recognized performers such as the Calgary Round-Up Band and the Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy will be among the participants.

“The Okanagan Tattoo is the only one of its kind in Western Canada,” said Crerar.
