The members of the North Thompson Arts Council elected a new slate of officers for the 2012-2013 term at their meeting on Sunday, Sept. 23, in Little Fort. Steve Shannon, Barriere’s ‘The Bear’ radio station host, ran the elections, with the following results: president - Charlene Lau; vice-president - Doris Laner; secretary - Margaret Houben, treasurer - Lana Laskovic, directors - Virginia Smith, Marie Downing, Patti Woods, Katherine Semrick and Norma Stewart.
At the next general meeting, the date of which is yet to be determined, the location and date for the 2013 Celebration of the Arts will be discussed.
